Despite launching our hugely exciting JO&JOE project, in collaboration with AccorHotels in September, the PENSON team have still been very busy getting out and about this autumn. We thought you’d like to catch up on all the things we’ve been up to that help inspire us to be a great team of eccentrics.
Our designer, Alicia, went to Tent in September at the Old Truman Brewery where she observed a much better variety of new and unique pieces in comparison to other events of the same calibre.
A few of us went to the fabulous Eporta event in October to celebrate their year old birthday. There were cute mini burgers included. That’s a win for any PENSONite.
Our CEO partied it up in Paris two weeks ago with the big team from AccorHotels to celebrate the success of JO&JOE. It’s safe to say that there are some pictures that can’t be released!
Then we all went off to a gallery viewing at The Old Truman Brewery for Tommy Clarke’s inspiring photographs of lush locations. He goes up in a helicopter and takes aerial shots of beaches, sand and open water. Envious much! Of course – we grabbed a salted beef bagel down Brick Lane afterwards! The perfect reward.
Then we celebrated a special birthday of our CEO Lee. He received very apt presents and a gorgeous homemade cake.
We really recommend a visit to the Southbank Centre to see the incredible artworks in the We Are All Human exhibition. They are all created by offenders, secure patients and detainees and selected from the 2016 Koestler Awards. Seriously inspiring stuff.
It’s fair to say that we’ve been busy taking in everything around us for inspo and experiencing the best London has to offer. We’re certainly an eclectic bunch, full of loads of ideas and we know how to have fun. You can see that from our amazing designs and the reason we’re rated in the top 20 of the world’s best designers.
