PENSON & AccorHotels announce their first JO&JOE Open House in Hossegor, France. The main contender in surf camp style, JO&JOE Hossegor is the ideal place for the first JO&JOE Open House. Teaming up in a close collaboration with Quicksilver & Roxy – the two iconic brands synonymous with surf & the spirit of adventure – PENSON and AccorHotels worked to deliver a JO&JOE with as much disruptive character as the surf champs that frequent the bay. Hossegor is the surfing capital and now the capital of social surf experience has landed.
With the Côte d’Argent making up 230km of uninterrupted coastline, Hossegor is a premier beach break location for visiting Tripsters and a great meeting place for local Townsters. Building on the authentic experiences delivered by the original JO&JOE concept unveiled in September 2016, JO&JOE Hossegor offers immediate functional solutions to the surfing community whilst creating the perfect arena for socialising, meeting new people & relaxing. ‘Life’s a beach’ with added open bars, hammocks, terraces, outdoor gardens, boarding & sports activities, freshly prepared local dishes & beers, and with everything located right between the lake and the beach.
The infamous PENSON disruptive DNA flows throughout the buildings complete with added eclectic designs & furnishings all mixed together in a laid-back style for an ultimate Open House setting. The PLAYGROUND is the coolest of communal hangouts: relax, cook, watch concerts, take part in a workshop or create your own social meet up in a unique & electric atmosphere. The craziest of interiors aid functionality of the space with added ingenious stackable systems guaranteeing surf boards are displayed as central pieces in the rooms, under everyone’s watchful eye. In true PENSON innovative style, the ‘Beer Bomb’ was an essential addition in completing the surfer’s paradise. No social area is complete without the slick sheeted metal canister of beers & chilled drinks, complete on wheels and full to the brim with ice for a refreshing reward after hitting the waves. The legendary JO&JOE kit-of-parts crafted by PENSON make sure that rooms cater for every type: shared sleeping in ‘Together’, small groups in ‘Out of the Ordinary’ & ‘Yours’ private rooms mix up the dynamics of space.
