While we don’t follow trends, we’re always interested in the interior inspiration a new year brings.
We’re taking a look at some of the up and coming trends for Interiors in 2020. Some of these trends have been around for a while – especially ones that call for more nature and natural materials in Interior Design...
1.) COLOUR
First of all, colour – Pantone colour of the year for 2020 is Classic Blue. It's relaxing, subdued and a staple. Dezeen has gone as far as saying that 'Pantone played it safe for 2020…Blue is arguably the most democratic of colours.'
2.) NATURAL TEXTURE
Blends of texture come together with gentle colours to instill a calming ambience; soft tones and earthy neutrals are great for creating a sanctuary where you can escape the world outside and relax after a long day.
3.) HUMBLE MATERIALS

4.) MONOCHROME COLOURS

5.) BIOPHLLIA
Once again, biophilia makes its way to the top of most of the lists for 2020. With the PENSON team heading to Ultrafabrics on Thursday to make their own Kokedama 'FreshAir' Palms, we're all firmly behind this trend!
The 2020 trends are perfect for any aspect of design - especially home and work. Check back for our projects releasing this year and you might find more than a few lasting trends...
