10 years ago, Bluebells Restaurant in Wentworth, Surrey was conceived by PENSON as a snug and imaginative heart-warming dining experience. Now, a second venue in Ascot has been enjoying that same visionary design that makes people feel welcome and relaxed.

As the case with any restaurant worth its salt, the design concept for Bluebells Restaurant took its direction from the menu and impeccable hospitality of its owners. It’s all about textures and elevated elegance. Dreamy souffle-soft whipped butter and bold flavours trigger the taste buds while the glittering bar and variety of surfaces catch the eye.

Once the team had sampled the delectable menu (perks of the job), the interior resulted in soft warm dusky tones blended with deep greens and sinkable velvets. It’s an invitingly rich and lavish experience reminiscent of your favourite hotel and comfort food all wrapped in one.

The three-course menu provided inspiration for the journey through the space. Guests start in the low-lit arrival lounge before heading through to the atmospheric dining area for the main event. Afterwards, drinks can be taken out into the light and airy conservatory space to admire the view.

Like the Bluebells Restaurant menu, there are a few surprises; the buzzing rose-gold bar in the central dining area, the wholly curtained dining and events space upstairs, the slick linear lighting and frothy white lights that complement the sheers. It’s as if you’re being cocooned in foodie heaven.
