Held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, this three-day event showcases materials for use in architecture and interiors. Describing itself as the only UK show "that focuses solely on interior and exterior surfaces", the annual exhibition promises over 180 exhibiting companies, sections dedicated to architectural lighting and natural stone, and a speaker programme featuring 50 architects and designers.

Milan design week is the unofficial name for the world's biggest annual design gathering, featuring the giant Salone del Mobile furniture fair plus hundreds of events around the city collectively known as Fuorisalone.
